Not pursuing right now
We've thought about these and decided they're not the right fit today. New technology or community feedback might change our minds — nothing here is a permanent no.
Cloud sync
World Gallivant is built around local-first — your data lives on your hardware, under your control. A cloud option would change the nature of the product in ways that don't align with that vision.
AI-powered features
We explored AI for recipe suggestions and photo tagging. For now, we prefer keeping everything local and offline-capable without depending on external services.
Subscription pricing
Every product is a one-time purchase. We believe if you bought it, it's yours — updates included.
User accounts
No accounts, no emails, no passwords. A license key is all you need. We wanted to keep things as simple and private as possible.
Want to try things before they ship? Your feedback directly shapes what we build next.
